Buying car
I have decided to buy a car, but I don’t really have the money for it. I know that within a year I will have a lot more money than I do now, so I have decided to take a loan to afford the car. I have decided to buy a Mercedes that is both classic and functional. I have bought a house on the countryside, and I will save both time and money by taking the car instead of waiting for trains and buses. I am tired of spending a whole day on transports, waiting by bus stops and reading time schedules. With car it will be a joy to go to my house instead of a never-ending figuring out how to get there and home. Especially if there will be autumn- and winter journeys; then it is hopeless to wait for different forms of transports in the wet cold. Also, I think that the service is so poor on trains. Dry cheese sandwiches, rude guards and that smell of banana and plastic bags…
Two of my friends have the kind of car I am intending to buy, and they are both satisfied with it. I feel pretty comfortable getting myself a car like that, partially because I have gotten a higher pay, and because it is such a good investment. Also, lately I have been winning quite a lot of money playing poker.
The only thing that interests me more than cars is gambling – and poker in particular. It took a while for me to understand the charm that poker playing has, but now that I have gotten it I will probably love it.
And if I keep winning this much on poker I will probably have enough money to buy myself yet another car in a few years… Not that I would, but it is a nice thought!
I can’t decide what colour I want though. I was thinking about black, but I don’t want to seem to pretentious. Maybe dark blue would suit better… Or dark red, even. For some reason that I have yet to find out, my friends have really ridiculous colours of their cars; purple and yellow.
Regardless, I am going for this car and I am doing it with clear conscience. Now all I have left to do is to enjoy the ride!
